Since the introduction of the “enhanced School Development and Accountability framework” by the Education Bureau in the 2022/23 school year, schools have been strengthening their self-evaluation mechanisms, making effective use of both qualitative and quantitative data to enhance the “Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation” (PIE) cycle within subject panels and functional groups.
The Quality School Improvement Project (QSIP) team from the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research will collaborate with partner schools to share practical experiences on leveraging self-evaluation to drive sustainable school improvement.
